The viscotest module for checking the lacquer viscosity
The SCS GmbH has developed a device that makes it easier to check the lacquer viscosity.
The viscotest module consists of a liquid-tight tray with four ESD-compatible castors and an ergonomic handle. The handle is also designed to be able to take out the liquid with the viskotest cup in the appropriate position from the canister. In addition, the device is equipped with a removable container with hinged lid, which is filled with appropriate solvent. For the actual test process, after the lacquer-removal, the viskotest cup is taken out of the canister and brought into the parking position. After the flow rate has been measured, documented, and compared to a reference measurement, the viskotest cup is placed in the container with solvent to keep it ready for use. The viscotest module offers two storage compartments for additional tools or documents. For the required inclined position of the can, supports are integrated in the lower part of the tub in order to enable the process position during the removal.
The device is designed for the transport of the container from the warehouse as well as for the optimization of the viscous test and also allows the removal of the lacquer on the coating machine.
Upon request, we can gladly provide user-specific variants for you.
Quattro module SPEA-TA 3030 for bearing of single head or dual head test adapter systems
The Quattro module SPEA-TA 3030 is made of sheet steel in the standard, RAL 7035 powder-coated. System distance height of the test adapter is analogous to the SPEA test system. The centering system for the trolley is made of stainless steel. ESD-compatible POM support systems ensure safe positioning. In addition, our storage modules can be extended by a variety of options. The illustration shows a fixed storage module with height-adjustable feet and a lockable front door.
Thank you for your visit at our booth
From June 5th to Juni 7th SMT Hybrid Packaging took place in Nürnberg. It was very gratifying for us that we were able to welcome numerous customers and interested parties at our booth. All in all, however, the fair seems to have lost considerably its appeal for the specialist audience. We were able to make many new contacts and answer questions directly on site. The interest in our products was very big. The personal conversation with our regular customers gives us good feedback about our work and shows us their appreciation.
We were particularly pleased to introduce our new products at the SMT this year:
Central supporting for the coating frame
Inlet conveyor for the original soldering frame
We are very pleased about the positive response! Thank you for your visit and the interesting discussions.

Our new products at the SMT 2018
On the 5th June we are heading to Nürnberg to the International Exhibition for System Integration in Micro Electronics: the SMT 2018. We invite you to visit us at our booth in hall 4, booth 121 from Tuesday to Thursday.
First of all, we would like to give you a little insight into our new products, which we present to you at our booth:
- Multiflex coating carrier: universally upgradeable coating carrier for difficult PCB geometries
- Central supporting for the coating frame: it serves as a support for large PCBs against deflection
- Inlet conveyor for the original soldering frame: it ensures that the PCBs are kept from being flooded with solder
Further information can be found on our event page.
We are looking forward to your visit.

A bar – two functions
We have developed a new product and thus expanded our range of attachments: The new universal bar not only offers a bearing surface for standard PCBs and solder masks, but also for PCBs with laterally projecting components. Ball fixings on the narrower side with a bearing surface of 2 mm ensure that the PCB is fixed to the bar. On the other, wider side of the universal bar, the PCB is kept in position by two movable stops. The projecting components are protected by the wide bearing surface against the solder wave.
Carnival
Please note: as in previous years, from Feb 12th until Feb 13th we will be on company vacation. On Wednesday, Feb 14th we are there for you as usual.
