Since they are not equipped with a mandrel, the bearing pins do not have any influence on the positioning in X/Y, but provide for additional support when the PCB's balance point is problematic as regards the other fixing elements. Bearing pins can effectively prevent the PCB from tipping out of the coating plane. The bearing pins, too, are secured in the drill holes of the base plate.
